As far as I know Buchan Shed #4 is the only Shed that travels around. We don't have set places for meetings and our meetings are not the same dates every year. The exception to this rule is of course the A.G.M which is in September every year and usually held at Lodge Ugie #939 in Mintlaw, and the Grand Shed Visitation which is held at Lodge St. John #745 in Huntly on or around the 19th. of May.
There probably is written down somewhere on a scrap of paper the limits of the area that we cover, I'll look into it, but as a general sort of rule, we cover the N.E of Scotland. Squaremen territory is completely different from that of the Blue Lodges and it is common to have brethren from several different Provinces in the Shed at the same time.
The process of deciding where we're going to meet starts - and I emphasise starts - at the A.G.M. The Shed is INVITED by a Lodge, and dates can be negotiated to suit both parties. This usually develops into an ongoing saga as some Lodges apply at a later date, and others change their minds and withdraw, so it is quite important to keep an eye on the Meeting Dates page, dates can and do often change and not just for the reasons already stated.
